Who is behind this site?

Hi, that would be me, Diane, an American who now calls France home. Nice to have you here! I'm also the creator of the blog Oui In France -- all about French culture, the French language, what it's like as a foreigner abroad, and more. I hope you'll check it out (after you buy a shirt, of course).

Where did the designs come from?

So glad you asked! The designs were inspired by some of my favorite things here in France including cafe culture and food. My ideas were conceptualized by a local French artist who brought my designs to life via a paintbrush and pen. Many of the designs feature watercolor. 100% authentically French. ;-) No clip art or stock images here! You can only buy my Francophile tees right here on this site.

Will you offer other designs? Or men's shirts or mugs or anything?

I just launched my Francophile t-shirt shop in November 2016 and it's a work in progress. Right now I'm only offering women's t-shirts I hope to offer more designs in the future, so if you're a fan, would you let me know?

Where are your shirts printed and shipped from?

France. I work with a local printer here in the Maine-et-Loire who has been a textile specialist for 20+ years. The shirts all use the DTG technique. I pack and ship every package myself -- no third-party service involved. You get my special touch. ;-)

What payment methods do you offer?

You can pay with most major credit cards or via Paypal. The choice is yours!

Do you offer returns?

I want my customers to be happy. Before buying, please review the sizing guidelines here. Return shipping to France tends to be quite costly, so contact me and we'll figure out a way to get you in a shirt that fits.

How much is shipping? Do you offer expedited shipping or tracking?

For one t-shirt, shipping is US$7.50 worldwide. Head over to the shipping page here. And yes, I do offer expedited shipping and tracking. Please contact me before ordering and I'll let you know the options.

Are your shirts good quality? They cost over US$30 with shipping so I don't want something crappy.

YES, totally get it. Crappy t-shirts suck. I've had a bunch of crappy tees over the years myself. So first, my shirts are GREAT quality. They're the Tee Jays Sof-Tee and I tested 9 samples before deciding on this particular tee. The 100% cotton shirts are soft on the skin, have a flattering yet relaxed fit that works with a variety of body types, and wear very well. My designs were made into t-shirts via DTG (direct to garment) printing and are printed into the fibers of the cotton and feel almost like a tattoo would on skin. There's no raised paint or anything like that on the shirt.

It was important to me to have a shirt that matches the high quality of the designs. I think you'll be very happy.

How should I wash my t-shirt?

To keep your t-shirt looking beautiful for years to come, machine wash cold and inside out. The design will tone down ever so slightly upon the first wash -- this is normal -- and then will be preserved for hundreds of washes to come. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry low. Do not iron over the top of the print.

Do you offer a discount if I'd like to order 5+ shirts?

Yup, contact me and I'll hook you up.

Do you ever have sales?

I might! To stay up to date on all the latest shop news including promos and new designs, sign up by clicking here for the mailing list.
